Have you ever been in Andacollo? well, Andacollo is a town near from La Serena city. In this place there are many traditions. For example, in october and December there is a celebration to Virgen del Rosario de Andacollo. In this celebration you can see many cultural expresion. In the picture we can apreciate an ancient religious dance, which is very important in the history of Andacollo, Chile and latinoamerican culture. In the picture you can see a kind of flute which exists since before the arrival of the spanish to our country. The sound of this religious dance reminds us about the lament of the miner. The "chinos" (quechua word) dance during many hours to greet to "La Chinita del Rosario" playing their instruments and singing their old melodies. I always can feel the emotion that I had when I was a child and I lived in my town with my family.  Hi! Today I want to talk you about Arena Quinteto. This project is a band which mixture folk music and jazz music. We recorded de last year our second album entitled “Un poco de fe” and We are preparing our third album entitled “Piel de Arena”. This project is important for me because let me to develop my creative side, I can compose and express ideas, for example in “Un poco de fe” song  we say that is necessary for  people to participate  so that there are   changes in the world.| My group mates are my friends too, it is good to play and create an appropriate climate for music. Really I prefer performance in group, that relaxes me, but I love play alone too. Hello¡¡ I want to talk you about my MacBook Pro. This year I am using SIERRA system which is the last one available by Apple. I use my computer mainly to write my music in Finale, a great program to edit and write scores. Also I can use IK multimedia whit this program like a virtual instrument to listen my scores. Miroslav Philharmonic is a big Library of sounds which a use to playback my scores. Thanks to Finale I can also prepare guides to teaching and print this one as PDF, which is important because when I must to work outside I don’t have Finale. I have in my computer great’s application, for example I have Logic Pro, a complete software to record and edit music. I use this program to create or arranger songs, I can mixture and mastering with Logic Pro, but this is a basic master. Other software in my computer are Photoshop and Final Cut, I am learning to use this tools because I need it to create flayers, poster, videos, etc. This is necessary to make known my band Arena Q...
