Hi musician friends, today I want to talk about a web site: www.ismlp.org .  This site is very important for any musician because it contain a lot scores by the most of classical composers. In the main menu you go to scores and you can chose the composers and instrument or group that you need. Also you can search by nationality, instrumentation, time period and genre. There are compositions, transcription, arrangements and audio files to listen to works by composers of all age. In this site you can free download the scores that you need.  If you want you can donate money to help to this incredible library but it is not required. Also you can purchase a membership or participate in forum or chat in the community. Also you can upload your scores and to share them with other musicians. I thing that this library is very necessary today because the performers, composers and musicologists every time need to find sheet music to play or  analyze any works. Well, I must ...

Carlos Botto He was a Chilean pianist, composer and professor. Carlos Botto was born in Viña del  Mar in 1923, in this city he began his piano studies with Odelia Malfatti. In 1948 he entered to National Conservatory in Santiago where he studie piano and composition. He was disciple of Gustavo Becerra, Domingo Santa Cruz and Juan Orrego Salas. Late he was student of Luigi Dallapicola in New York. Botto was professor in Universidad de Chile and Esuela Moderna de Música, he became in director of National Conservatory between 1961 and 1968. He also was president of The Musical Younths between 1961 and 1974.   His music for piano is very interesting and complex, for example his “Caprichos” for piano are a great work which have a big development of harmony and form. Today his music is important to any Chilean pianist, his pieces are an essential part in the Chilean repertory. He received a lot distinctions for his music that He presented in musical festivals. ...
